Terms & Conditions
Our Privacy Policy:
We personally know how incredibly irritating it is to receive junk mail (a.k.a. SPAM). So we want to assure you that your information will only be used to contact you and will not be shared with ANYONE else. That's our PROMISE.
Deposit/Reservation Information:
A deposit of 50% of the total purchase price or $45.00 (whichever is greater) is required to reserve all baby cockatiels until weaned. Once your baby is weaned payment is due in full upon pick-up or delivery. We accept credit cards through Paypal (please contact us for additional info on Paypal payments), cash, & checks (10 day minimum hold on all checks). **Note** **Payment by Check is not a valid form of payment when taking birds home, unless prior arrangments have been agreed upon**
Going Home Information:
All baby cockatiels are weaned to a very wide selection of foods. All customers are encouraged to purchase the appropriate recommended food(s) prior to picking up their baby bird.
Also as a courtesy to our customers we will also sell you the same food that our babies are weaned to out of our own private stock if desired.
Additional Services:
We offer DNA sexing for $25.00 which is NOT included in the price of the baby bird. DNA sexing is a non-invasive and virtually painless way of sexing your baby chick. It's a much better option to chose rather than a surgical procedure.
Hand-Delivery is also available within a 100 mile radius for a charge to compensate for gas (Fees may vary and are charged on a per mile basis).
Warranty/Guarantee:
At the time of sale the Buyer accepts the bird "As-is". The Buyer has 72 hours from the time of possession to have the bird examined by a CERTIFIED Avian Veterinarian (Local Referrals Available). This 72 hour period is considered a good health guarantee. If significant illness is found in the bird on our part, (i.e. untreatable bacterial or viral infections) then we will exchange the bird for one of equal or lesser value or if one is not available at that time the Buyer will receive a refund upon request and review of the health records by the seller. However, if illness or death is due to the Buyer changing the diet that the bird was weaned to, or negligence is discovered and noted on the part of the Buyer this health guarantee becomes null & void.
